Doctor Nam-Son NGO-VIET has had about 25 years of professional and teaching experiences in international planning and architecture developments in Asia (China, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam) and North America (Canada and United States). Dr. Ngo-Viet has encompassed his works with a vision of interdisciplinary cooperation and practical research bridging with practice, including teaching at University of Washington, working at international companies and with leading experts (Skidmore & Owings, Merrill, office of architect Ngo Viet Thu), and providing strategic consultancy to local governments (Vietnam, Canada, and United States). He has also engaged in planning, architectural and socio-cultural research projects and presented lectures at universities and conferences in the world. Dr. Ngo-Viet has been member of professional and academic institutions, among them are American Institute of Architects, American Planning Association, and Union of Architects of Vietnam. He got a doctorate degree from University of Washington, a master degree from University of California at Berkeley, and a diploma of architecture from University of architecture in Ho Chi Minh City. He communicates fluently in English, French, and Vietnamese.
